Orfeo grew up into a merry gossoon (as long and lean as two yards of pump water), taking care before lying down in the grass to warn the local insects and creeping things to get away safely. Beetles and mice and birds all help Orfeo to free the princess from the Rose Tower. This collection of 15 fairy tales is written by a 'weaver of magic'.
