Almost 2400 pure substances, are considered in this compilation of thermochemical data. The scope of thermochemical functions presented ranges from heat capacity, entropy, energy function to enthalpy of formation and equilibrium constant of formation. The values of these functions are tabulated at intervals of 100 K, starting at room temperature and going up to 5000 K. A preliminary text introduces thermodynamics and describes the fundamental relations of chemical thermodynamics. The contents and structure of the tables are explained, and numerous examples illustrate how to use them.
