The More Everyday Actions Set is designed to be utilized as a therapeutic tool for parents, therapists, and educators when teaching individuals diagnosed with autism and other developmental disabilities. The focus of More Everyday Actions is to identify, generalize, and discuss a wide range of common actions. Everyday Actions promotes the learning of verbs as well as: boy/girl, man/woman identification, plurals, letter/word identification, facial expressions, abstract thought, spelling, sight reading, social and conversational skills, imitation skills, and recall ability. Each action is presented multiple times in a variety of settings, by a diverse group of people, to enhance generalization skills. Discussion questions follow each sequence of actions to enhance and reinforce learning. The DVD also includes a full-screen slide show of flashcards that can be printed out on the CD-ROM. The CD-ROM contains a total of 312 printable flashcards. Each flashcard is taken directly from the More Everyday Actions DVD, which gives the flashcards a context. The flashcards can be printed out in labeled and unlabeled formats.
