Finely detailed 1/48 scale model kit of the SdKfz 173, a World War II German tank destroyer commonly known as the Jagdpanther ("Fighting Panther"). Based on the chassis of the Panther tank, the Jagdpanther featured a low-profile body and the same deadly long-barreled 88 mm gun as the Tiger tank. This model kit depicts the late production version Jagdpanther, and the kit comes with die-cast lower hull, movable 88mm gun, movable rear escape hatch (in open or closed position), optional commander and loader's hatches (in open or closed position), and decals for 3 sets of markings.
