Explore the elaborate Bionicle storyline with the Lego Bionicle Piraka Stronghold set. The set comes with 648 pieces and a full-color, illustrated instruction booklet that diagrams model construction in 59 steps with multiple ministeps along the way. Piraka characters enter the fort through the mouth of a fearsome mask. Retractable teeth form bars over the entrance to keep the good guys out. The stronghold is defended by a clever mechanism that loads and shoots plastic marbles, er, zamor spheres about eight feet in distance. Our favorite feature, though, was a red LED brick with a tiny lens that focuses the light into a pretend laser sure to wreak pretend devastation. Inside the box you'll find nine numbered bags of parts, two plastic bases, a Piraka mask, and instructions. Numbered parts bags make it easier to build the set in stages since the numbers correspond to discreet sections of the building diagrams.
