Artisan Info: Mirelle was born in Jakarta, the youngest of three children. Her father is Indonesian and her mother is Australian. Her mother is a designer, and ever since Mirelle was child, she loved to make her own paintings and drawings. When she finished high school in Jakarta, she continued her studies in Fine Arts at TAFE College in Australia, where she also learned about felting. Growing up and spending most of her time in a big crowded city such as Jakarta made Mirelle want to find a place where she could work, express herself freely and be in touch with nature. That's why she decided to move to Bali, where she found the happiness of being herself and the freedom to express her creative ideas.
