In today's world, runes are used as a reflection of our contemporary values. Just like in the old days when the Vikings cast runes to see how best to win battles, we now use the runes as a means to understand ourselves in terms of our personal journeys and how our relationships affect the outer world. There are many ways to use your Rune Stones, but here is a general guideline: There are two methods of drawing the runes. The first is to put the runes into a container (bag, box, etc.), mix them, and then draw them out one at a time. The second is to mix the runes up, and then drop them onto the working surface. The closest stone to the reader whose rune is face up should be chosen, then the next closest, and so on.
If drawing stones from a bag, when you draw the stone out, lay it on your working surface the way you drew it. If it is face down, turn it over so that the end of the stone closest to you stays closest to you, so that you do not change it's orientation. If the rune is sideways, turn it clockwise until it is lined up correctly.
The best surface to work on is a white cloth. This keeps your mind focused on the runes themselves, instead of focusing on other things.
Generally, the questions asked should be yes/no type questions where the answer can be expanded on (as in, "yes, but.....")
