This postcard features a young man looking out over a snow-covered lake and "PORTAGE LAKE IN THE WINTER." The text printed on the back of the card says: "Breathtaking Portage Lake in Onekama, Michigan becomes a winter wonderland after the first snows in early November. Ice fishing and numerous recreation activities abound for the hearty outdoorsman looking for that special spot." Although there's no date on this card, it's an actual reproduction of a vintage postcard selected from "tens of thousands of cards" submitted to the Klutz Press Tacky Postcard Contest and published in their 2nd volume, 1989, book: Revenge of the Son of the World's Tackiest Postcards (out-of-print).
