These European Closed helmets were designed to provide maximum protection during jousts. Though visibility is somewhat limited when completely closed, the front half of the helmet is hinged and lifts to allow the fighter to see when not in immediate combat.

This piece is fully wearable and is a great example of the styles worn by Knights in the 15th and 16th centuries. It is handcrafted, therefore differences in appearance and size may occur. It is forged from 18 gauge solid steel and features an extended cowl on the front and back for neck protection and a ridge on top to deflect glancing blows.

The helmet is full sized and wearable for costume or will look great on display in any home or office.

Helmet stand is not included.
